The entire International Bi-lingual Montessori School staff goes above & beyond expectations to ensure a safe, fun and productive learning environment. The teachers, assistants, directors and before and after-school care staff are wonderful. Such a family-centered environment facilitates learning at International Bilingual Montessori School.

I have personally observed my daughter in the International Bilingual Montessori School environment several times. In addition to the true Montessori base program, there is unparalleled variety of in-school activities. This is our third year with IBMS, so all the remarkable progress has happen on their watch.

We are both (my husband as well) UM math professors, and, early childhood education being one of my hobbies, we cannot provide the first class Montessori curriculum the school offers. As a special note, the children are taught to be polite, self-sufficient and social. That sets correct background to all the activities.

I would like to thank International Bilingual Montessori School for the strong education my daughter has received. At age 3 she knew her Continents and her numbers from 1-20, in both English and Spanish. By age 4, she had learned her colors and important base words, in English and Spanish. At age 5, she began reading and memorizing sight words and was performing simple addition problems. And now at age 6 she has wonderful pronunciation in Spanish, has developed a love for the language and a love for reading. She enjoys the challenge of learning new lessons, which has been instilled upon her at this school. We are very happy for placing her at International Bilingual Montessori School.

Three years ago I moved from Northern Virginia to Miami. A friend recommended me about enrolling my daughter to a Montessori School (she was 2). Not knowing too much about the Montessori concept, I was a little apprehensive in doing so. Nevertheless, after 3 years, I have had no regrets whatsoever. It is very clear to me that my daughter's time at the International Bilingual Montessori has prepared her to be more confident with herself and to interact well with others. It has given her the knowledge on how to follow instructions and the disciplinary steps in doing her lessons well and on her own pace. It is a warm, loving environment. The children are constantly engaged in developmentally appropriate hands-on activities. They get to experience their own strengths and weaknesses as they work with their projects and lessons. My daughter Lucia loves school and has made lots of friends, both younger and older. I highly recommend any family with a young child to experience the Montessori system and if possible welcome others to experience it as well´┐Ż.. I thank the administration and the staff for the wonderful atmosphere presented to my daughter on a daily basis.

My daughter is thriving at the International Bilingual Montessori School! She started at the age of 2 and is now an active 3 1/2 year old. At all times, the staff at the school has been kind, caring and attentive to my daughter and her needs and development. The school has several enrichment programs that my daughter loves.

The regular curriculum includes Spanish, music, computers and yoga and she also takes part in extra-curricular programs such as dance and karate. The summer school program is excellent and keeps her mind and body active and engaged, all summer long. The summer program includes crafts, enrichment programs at the school and also off-campus field trips, such as a regular weekly swimming program.

I can't say enough good things about International Bilingual Montessori School. They have so many diverse programs to offer various ages of children. You don't need to worry about driving all around town to enrich your child in the afternoons, this school offers many programs right on campus, to meet a variety of interests.

I highly recommend this school to anyone interested in stimulating and engaging their child in a supportive and loving environment.
